Robert F. Kennedy Fundraiser to Be Headlined by Italian Opera Singer Andrea Bocelli, Mike Tyson
The star-studded event will also include names like Martin Sheen and Mike Tyson and double as a 70th birthday celebration for Kennedy Jr.
A super PAC supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. confirmed that Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli will be performing at a fundraiser for the 2024 hopeful on the eve of the New Hampshire primary.
American Values confirmed the Bocelli performance, first reported by the Daily Mail. Other celebrity names like Martin Sheen, Mike Tyson, and Dionne Warwick will also be in attendance at the Jan. 22 event, which doubles as a 70th birthday celebration for Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy Jr., who is married to actress Cheryl Hines, has found support from a number of celebrities, including Joe Rogan, Woody Harrelson, and Pierce Brosnan.
The independent candidate dropped his longshot run for the Democratic Party nomination last year. His campaign is now under pressure to get Kennedy Jr.'s name on all 50 state ballots, a costly and timely effort.
His January fundraiser will take place in Indian Wells, California and is expected to bring in millions for the candidate. A September event featuring musician Eric Clapton racked up more than $2 million for Kennedy Jr.
