Activist Drapes Israeli Flag Over Palestinian Flag Outside Dem Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s Office: ‘Shame on You’
An Arab-Israeli activist posted a video of him with Hebrew subtitles outside Tlaib's office, accusing her of refusing to condemn Hamas for their Oct. 7 attack on the Gaza Strip
Activist Yoseph Haddad posted fliers of kidnap vitamins and draped an Israeli flag over the Palestinian flag hanging outside Rep. Rashida Tlaib's, D-Mich., office in Capitol Hill this week.
“Shame on you,” Haddad responded when the fliers and flag were taken down within five minutes of him posting them.
Haddad, an Arab-Israeli activist, posted a video of him with Hebrew subtitles outside Tlaib's office, calling her "antisemitic" and accusing her of refusing to condemn Hamas for their Oct. 7 attack on the Gaza Strip.
“Those kids were kidnapped by Hamas,” Haddad said, holding up flyers of children’s faces. “And Rashida Tlaib doesn’t say anything? Anything? Seriously? So, here, I’m putting the flyer for her in order to make sure that she doesn’t forget that we have kidnapped Israelis in Gaza, kidnapped by Hamas. And if English doesn’t ... change her mind, maybe the Arabic one will make her change her mind,” Haddad said while pinning the flyers on a board outside the closed door of Tlaib’s office.
“You want to free the Palestinians? Free the Palestinians from the terrorist organization Hamas,” he said.
Haddad also proceeded to drape an Israeli flag over top of Tlaib's Palestinian flag, which has hung outside her office since long before the war between Hamas and Israel began. Tlaib is the only Palestinian member of Congress.

“I really hope she doesn’t take this down,” Haddad said in the video, however when he returned about "five minutes later," all of it was gone.
“Unbelievable. You see, as expected, they took the flyers down. And literally, five minutes gone,” Haddad said, adding, “Shame on you, Rashida Tlaib.”
Tlaib has not responded to the incident.
