An incredible video shows a man in Thailand coming to his cats’ rescue when they are attacked by a python.

TMZ shared the black and white surveillance video, which it says was recorded on Tuesday in Bangkok, calling the clip “insane.” In it, a massive python can be seen slithering into a covered cat cage.

The caged cats can be seen thrashing about and heard wailing as the python continues to make its way into their enclosure. Their owner, a barefoot man wearing only shorts and a T-shirt, is seen leaping into action once he sees the snake after investigating his pets’ cries for help.

The man almost immediately runs up to the cat’s crate and grabs the large snake by its tail, hanging outside his pet's enclosure. He then begins to pull the python, by its tail, away from the cats’ crate.

The snake refuses to budge, so the man eventually has to grab it by its head. After some struggle and encouragement from his barking pet dogs, the man successfully gets the large snake away from his cats, holding its mouth closed with his bare hands.

The man then dumped the python in a nearby bush, according to TMZ. When authorities were alerted of the massive snake, it's reported they tried to track it down. TMZ says it remains unclear if that hunt was successful.

Massive python sightings are not exclusive to Thailand. Americans have had several noteworthy encounters with them this year.

Earlier in November, a woman in Florida discovered that what her dog was barking at in her backyard was a huge python.

In late October, a beautiful 8-foot albino golden child reticulated python was caught in an Oklahoma City trailer park after residents there claimed it was surviving off of residents' cats.
