Worker Killed at Logan Airport in Boston in Forklift Accident
The employee was doing maintenance work for a JetBlue subcontractor
Authorities continue to investigate after a forklift accident claimed the life of a worker at Logan International Airport in Boston.
The worker, only identified as a 51-year-old man who lived in Winthrop, was hurt Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. outside Terminal C.
Police said a forklift struck a stationary structure and turned over, crushing the operator.
First responders tried to save the man's life at the scene, and later, rushed him to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The employee was doing maintenance work at the terminal. He worked for a subcontractor who was working for JetBlue.
Massachusetts State Police provided no further information on their investigation.
