Woman Shot 5 Outside Denver Bar After She Was Denied Entry for Using Fake ID: Report
The woman pulled out the weapon and began shooting after getting in a confrontation with the bar's security staff
Denver police are searching for a woman they say opened fire outside a bar after she was refused entry, wounding five people, according to a report.
The woman was turned away from the bar after she showed an ID that wasn't hers and got into a confrontation with the security staff Saturday evening, the police said, NBC News reported.
As she walked away, the woman pulled out a weapon and began shooting at the bar around 11:15 p.m., the report said.
“Investigators believe the five victims were not the intended targets,” police said.
The victims were not publicly identified.
The police are offering a reward of up to $2,000 to anyone who can help identify or locate the woman.
