Mother of Missing Man Found Executed in Vermont Woods Raising Money to Bring Body Back Home
The mother of Jahim Solomon said in her GoFundMe post that her son is a 'beloved son, father, and friend'
The mother of a missing man who was found executed alongside his friend deep in the woods of Vermont earlier this week is trying to bring his body back home as authorities work to determine who pulled the trigger.
Susan Lynn’s son, Jahim Solomon, was one of two men whose bodies were discovered in northern Vermont on Wednesday, as The Messenger previously reported. Autopsy reports revealed that Solomon and Eric White, both 21 and from Massachusetts, died after receiving gunshot wounds to the head. Solomon received multiple gunshot wounds, while White had one.
Both their deaths were ruled homicides, Vermont State Police said on Thursday.
Lynn said in her GoFundMe post that Solomon died “in a tragic and unexpected manner.”
“Jahim is a beloved son, father, and friend,” Lynn said. “Today I am asking for donations of any amount to help bring his body home and lay him to rest.”
Lynn did not immediately return The Messenger’s request for an interview.

Both Solomon and White were reported missing by their family members on October 15, Vermont State Police said in its news release.
Family members told police the two “had been traveling together, had not been [in] touch with their families for several days, and the relatives were unable to reach them.” The family members also said the two disappeared “under suspicious circumstances” and they initially had “concerns” for their welfare.
The incident remains under investigation.
