The self-proclaimed girlfriend of the Uvalde school shooter was arrested in Puerto Rico after allegedly making threats of violence against the southwest Texas community, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

Victoria Gabriela Rodríguez-Morales, 19, has been charged with 13 counts of interstate threats, in connection with menacing schools, hospitals and law enforcement in Uvalde, which still reeling from the 2022 massacre in which 19 elementary students and two teachers were murdered.

She made the threats through social media and email, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Puerto Rico.

Rodríguez-Morales allegedly described the 4th grade victims as “little losers… I pray for them to be burning in hell,” according to prosecutors.

Some of Rodríguez-Morales' threats allegedly made reference to 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos, who rampage through two classrooms at Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022, in one of the nation’s deadliest school shootings.

Her online threats included statements, such as: “They will shoot uvalde high school and morales jr high whenever I tell 'em So yeah the persecution is gonna start today, ” “I will haunt everyone from class 2022 to 2023 Each and every single one of y’all will die,” “Each and every single one of y’all will die in the name of Salvador,” and “Your childrens hospital may blow in pieces If yall dont do as i say,” per the FBI.

At least one of the suspect’s remarks led to the temporary lockdown of a Texas school.

Rodríguez-Morales also allegedly threatened to kill Kimberly Mata Rubio, the mother of 10-year-old Robb Elementary School victim Lexi, if she won her bid for Uvalde mayor (Rubio subsequently lost to incumbent Cody Smith).

She was taken into custody in Puerto Rico, “hundreds of miles away from the place she intended to torment through threats of violence,”  Special Agent in Charge Joseph González said in a statement.

“The U.S. Attorney’s Office has no tolerance for illegal threats, especially threats that target people who are the victims of the horrific mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas,” U.S. Attorney Muldrow said in a statement. “We hope that this arrest brings a sense of peace to those who were targeted by the defendant.”

Police were first alerted to Rodriguez-Morales in 2018, when she made similar threats against Uvalde, KSAT-TV reported, citing the affidavit.

Her family relocated to Puerto Rico in 2020, where she allegedly continued to make threats, even after the Uvalde massacre.

If convicted on the current charges, Rodriguez-Morales faces up to five years in prison for each count.
