Utah Massage Therapist Brutally Stabbed to Death While Working Alone
The victim, Yuping Jiao, 45, has been a licensed massage therapist in Utah since 2021
A massage parlor employee in Utah was stabbed to death while she was working alone last week, according to authorities.
Yuping Jiao, 45, was found stabbed multiple times at a massage parlor in Midvale called A+ Massage on Jan. 4, according to the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake, KSL reported.
No arrests have been made and a description of a suspect was not revealed, but the police said that several people of interest are being investigated.
Unified police said that Jiao, a licensed massage therapist in the state since 2021, was a victim of a “brutal and tragic homicide.”
"The circumstances surrounding this heinous crime are deeply concerning. The victim was working alone at the time, and the motive for the homicide remains unknown," police said.
