Two US Navy Sailors Missing at Sea off Coast of Somalia

Two U.S. Navy sailors have been reported missing at sea off the coast of Somalia.
United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) announced on Friday that the two sailors went missing on Thursday evening while “conducting operations” off Somalia’s coast.
The missing officers were said to be forward-deployed to the U.S 5th Fleet’s area of operation and were supporting a wide variety of missions.
"For operational security purposes,” USCENTCOM says it will not be releasing additional information “until the personnel recovery operation is complete.”
“Out of respect for the families affected, we will not release further information on the missing personnel at this time,” USCENTCOM added in its announcement.
