Texas Man Caught in Photos From Game Camera He Stole: Cops
The man has since been arrested
A Texas man has been arrested after he stole a game camera that continued to take live photos of him without his knowledge.
The Live Oak Police Department shared several photos taken of the man to Facebook, dated Nov. 8. Police said that the man seen in the photos “knowingly stole” the city-owned camera.
“Remarkably, the camera is still sending images to the police department, and it's believed the suspect is unaware of this,” the police department wrote on Facebook Monday morning.
In the shared photos, a tattooed man is seen sitting shirtless on a bed. In some pictures, a woman is seen lying behind him on the bed. Police also shared a photo of the man's vehicle that was presumably taken before the camera was stolen.
Since the post was made, the man was found and arrested but his identity has not been shared.
But while the man's achievement may have been short-lived, Facebook users found the situation funny as the police department's post has amassed more than 400 reactions. "Now this is entertainment!" one user commented.
