Texas Flea Market Shooting Suspect Is 19-Year-Old Man Still on the Run: Police
Pearland Police have an active arrest warrant out for David Negrete — and a $15,000 reward is being offered
A manhunt is underway in Texas for a 19-year-old suspect in a mass shooting at a popular flea market that left a 10-year-old boy dead.
Pearland Police have an active arrest warrant out for David Negrete, who remains on the run after opening fire at Cole's Flea Market shortly after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The mass shooting left four other people — including a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy — seriously injured.
The shooting also wounded two men, ages 18 and 37. All were transported to the hospital, where the 10-year-old died.
The child's name, and precise information on the exact conditions of the other victims, has not been released.
"Preliminary investigations have revealed two Hispanic male subjects were involved in an altercation at the flea market resulting in shots being fired," reads a statement from cops.
"At least two handguns were fired during the altercation and the number of rounds fired is still to be determined," the statement said.
