A Missouri high school teacher was arrested after she allegedly sent an underage student naked pictures, solicited pictures from the minor and kissed him.

Rikki Lynn Laughlin, of St. James, Missouri, was charged with six felonies for the alleged incidents involving a 16-year-old boy, according to the Riverfront Times. Local reports said Laughlin was both 25 and 24, her exact age was not immediately clear.

The Riverfront Times said that Laughlin was busted after a school employee tipped off authorities about a possible inappropriate relationship between her and a student at St. James High School.

Police visited the home of the 16-year-old on Oct. 20, and the boy claimed to have kissed Laughlin, according to KSDK. He also said she invited him to come over and have sex while her husband was away. A Maries County Sheriff's Office detective’s report viewed by the Riverfront Times said that the student declined the invitation and "made excuses for not meeting with Laughlin because he did not feel comfortable.”

Laughlin also allegedly sent the boy a video of herself using a sex toy and solicited pictures from him via Snapchat. She then asked him to delete the photos amid rumors about the relationship, saying she could go to jail, police said.

Authorities confronted Laughlin the same day they talked to the boy and she allegedly told them "I was not aware he was a minor until yesterday,” KSDK said.

Laughlin was charged with second-degree attempted statutory rape, possession of child sexual assault materials, promoting obscenity, furnishing pornographic material to a minor,  tampering with a witness, and tampering with physical evidence, the outlet reported. Her bail was set at $100,000.

St James Superindenity Tim Webster told KSDK that the school "takes these matters seriously and reported allegations to appropriate outside agencies, including law enforcement.” He said the district is cooperating with police in their investigation.

The Maries County Sheriff's Office did not immediately return a request for information.
