Teacher Brianna Coppage Suspended Over OnlyFans Page Says She’ll Stick to Porn: ‘I Do Miss My Students’

A Missouri teacher has been suspended after school administrators learned she's an OnlyFans star. 

Brianna Coppage, 28, taught English classes at St. Clair High School until she was placed on leave Wednesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Coppage began posting on OnlyFans over the summer as a way to boost her annual income, she said. 

The Post-Dispatch reported that her teaching job brought in about $42,000 last year. She told the outlet that she made up to $10,000 extra per month through OnlyFans.

The St. Clair School District told the outlet that administrators were “recently notified that an employee may have posted inappropriate media on one or more internet sites.” It’s unclear how the district learned of her OnlyFans account. 

Coppage said she never expected her OnlyFans to be discovered by anyone she knew in real life. The content posted to the website can only be accessed if you’re a paying subscriber. She said she thinks someone notified the district after she and her husband posted a video alongside two other popular sex workers in St. Louis. 

“It was kind of always like this cloud hanging over my head, like I never knew when I would be discovered,” Coppage said. “Then, about two weeks ago, my husband and I were told that people were finding out about it. So I knew this day was coming.”

While Coppage remains on leave, the school district is investigating to determine whether she’ll receive any disciplinary action, St. Clair Superintendent Kyle Kruse told the Post-Dispatch. 

“[The district says] they haven’t made a decision yet, but I’m just kind of putting the pieces together that I am not coming back,” Coppage said. “I’m very aware that I am probably never going to teach again, but that was kind of the risk I knew I was taking. I am sad about that. I do miss my students.”

Coppage said she does not regret posting to OnlyFans, and plans to continue to do so. 

“That was like my completely, separate personal life outside of teaching,” she said.

“I do not regret joining OnlyFans. I know it can be taboo, or some people may believe that it is shameful, but I don’t think sex work has to be shameful,” she added. “I do just wish things just happened in a different way.”

Coppage said she loves being a teacher and celebrating milestones with her students. She said she never spoke of her OnlyFans account and always stuck to the curriculum.

“I can’t control what people think of me. I just know that who I am as a person, I’m not doing anything illegal. I am a good friend,” she said. “I am a good family member. That is all I can think about right now.”
