Sean Carpenter of Clay County, Florida was arrested Friday on four counts of child molestation of a victim less than 12 years old.
According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the 36-year-old repeatedly molested the unidentified child who was an acquaintance of Carpenter.
The victim reportedly told her parents about the abuse on Oct. 16. and a teacher raised concerns to law enforcement that the child was experiencing “potty regression,” which is often an indicator that a child has undergone sexual trauma, investigators told Action News Jax.

“This piece of trash is a disgrace to not only his employers but also to anyone in public service who proudly sacrifice their lives to help others,” Sheriff H.D “Gator’ Deloach said at a press conference.
