Sheep Break Into Greenhouse, Eat Over 600 Pounds of Marijuana

A flock of sheep in Greece ate over 600 pounds of cannabis after accidentally ending up in a medical marijuana greenhouse.

A storm caused torrential downpours in the town of Almyros, forcing the sheep to look for shelter from the rain, according to Newsweek. They ended up consuming the weed that was in the greenhouse.

When their shepherd found them later, he noticed the sheep were behaving strangely, with "unconfirmed rumors" claiming that the flock of sheep enjoyed very much getting stoned.

The greenhouse owner was disappointed to find that a large chunk of his supply of weed, which was severely damaged by the weather, was also eaten by the sheep.

“I don’t know if to laugh or cry,” the owner of the licensed medical cannabis cultivation facility told Keep Talking Greece. "We have the heatwave, we are losing a lot of production. We have the floods, we lose the rest. And the best part? After all of that, a flock of sheep came into the facility, and I don’t know how they got around and started eating what was left. I don’t know what to say, honestly."
