Russian Influencer Who Posted Video Chucking Infant Son Into a Snowbank Faces Criminal Investigation 

A Russian social media influencer is being investigated after he posted a video showing him tossing his 2-month-old son into a snowbank, according to reports. 

Sergey Kosenko, who has just under seven million followers on Instagram, posted the footage on Monday and it quickly went viral, the Moscow Times reported. 

The video has since been deleted, and Kosenko claimed he was throwing a doll — not a child, English Pravda reported.

The head of Russia's Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered the probe into Kosenko "following requests by members of state bodies and public institutions,” the Moscow Times said.

The committee said Kosenko will be investigated for "unlawful acts against a newborn child” and for compliance with tax laws.

Kosenko, who lives outside Russia, could be extradited, the report said. 

The boy was born in November. His mother is blogger and singer Sasha Belair.

Kosenko is already under investigation by the Moscow traffic police for driving his Bentley with a woman tied to the roof in August 2021, Insider reported.
