Pro-Palestinian Protesters Damage Fence Outside White House, Forcing Evacuation of Nearby Staff

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators on Saturday night congregated outside the White House, forcing staff nearby to evacuate the premises, according to reports. 

Video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, shows the protesters shaking and damaging an anti-scaling fence outside the White House, with Secret Service attempting to keep them back.

The Secret Service confirmed to the New York Post that non-essential personnel were evacuated from the area during the demonstration. 

The protesters shouted, “F–– Joe Biden,” as they dislodged the fence. 

“Break it down! You support the murder of children!”

The Secret Service told the Post that there was “temporary damage” to the fence. 

“The issues were promptly repaired on site by U.S. Secret Service support teams,” Lt. Paul Mayhair told the Post.

“As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed,” he added.
