WATCH: Brooklyn Man Takes on New York Pro-Palestinian Protesters Blocking Bridge — and Wins
More than 300 pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested Monday for blocking the Brooklyn Bridge and Holland Tunnel
A man trying to cross the Brooklyn Bridge on Monday got so agitated with pro-Palestinian protesters blocking the bridge that he exited his vehicle and confronted them. He pushed a couple of them while yelling, “I have a daughter in Brooklyn!”
In the video, he appears to tell the protesters that blocking a road is “illegal.” He eventually climbed back into his maroon Honda SUV with New Jersey plates and eased his way through the crowd before driving off without further issue.
The confrontation was caught in its entirety on video and later tweeted.
Brooklyn Bridge has become a popular spot for pro-Palestinian protesters ever since the Israel-Hamas war began on Oct. 7. In late October, thousands of the protesters congregated there to call for a cease-fire in the war.
On Monday, the NYPD arrested 325 protesters who blocked the Brooklyn Bridge and Holland Tunnel, according to WABC.
