A high school security guard in Pennsylvania has been charged with institutional sexual assault for allegedly engaging sexually with an underage student.

A 17-year-old at McKeesport High School told Allegheny County Police that 24-year-old Alexis Brown reached out to him via Facebook Messenger and made sexual comments, including telling the teen that "there was a bet with Brown and Brown’s friends on who could have sex with [the teenager] first," according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

In May 2023, the teen went to Brown's apartment and allegedly, the two engaged in sexual acts for the first time. He told police that this happened approximately 15 times.

Police searched Brown's apartment in December and found that it matched the description given by the teen.

Along with institutional sexual assault, Brown has been charged with corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor. Brown was arrested on Monday evening and is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Additionally, Brown faces one charge of receiving stolen property in a separate case because police found a stolen gun in her apartment while conducting their search.

McKeesport Superintendent Tia Wanzo has declined to comment to the media regarding the allegations against Brown.
