A video capturing the frightening moments after gunfire rang out at the Texas State Fair has been released, and it shows people fleeing on foot or ducking behind retail displays for cover in a food court.

Local news outlet WFAA obtained the footage, which was filmed by Sirio Brozzi after 22-year-old Cameron Turner allegedly shot and injured three people.

Police believe Turner missed his intended target.

The shooting was reported to Dallas police around 8 p.m., and the suspect was taken into custody shortly afterward. All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

In the video, gunshots can be heard, as can screams of fear. Women can be seen huddling together in a corner — the fear, obvious on their panicked faces.

Other people dropped or crouched behind store displays full of produce, trying to hide from the danger. Meanwhile, a law enforcement officer — perhaps a sheriff's deputy — enters the frame, and is seen running towards the gunfire, holding his gun aloft.

Other officers are later seen in the footage, looking for any wounded fairgoers.

Weapons of any kind are banned from the Texas State Fair's grounds, per the fair's policy.

The State Fair of Texas issued an emergency order for evacuation following the shooting but the fair was reopened at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon local time.

Turner is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He's yet to enter a plea to those charges.
