A retired doctor was arrested Tuesday after police raided his 70-foot yacht in Nantucket Harbor and allegedly found guns and drugs on board.

Scott Anthony Burke, 69, of Key Largo, Fla., is now facing drug trafficking and weapons charges because of the incident on his motor yacht, Jess Conn, which was anchored in the harbor of the exclusive Massachusetts island, police said in a statement. The Jess Conn appears to be named for the doctor's children, Jessica and Connor.

Police initially responded to the Jess Conn after receiving a report that "a female party, on board a yacht, who did not want to be there, was under the influence of narcotics, and possibly has overdosed,” according to a police report obtained by the Nantucket Current.

Nantucket Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration agents boarded the ship and found the woman on board, along with 43.4 grams of cocaine, 14.1 grams of ketamine, and two pistols, according to the Current.

The woman in distress was taken to the hospital, but police did not provide details on her condition.

Burke said the guns were his and obtained legally, but police found his license was expired, the Current reported.

The retired doctor had practiced in Denver and since moved to Florida. His boat was registered in the Cayman Islands. He is set to be arraigned on Monday.
