A man blew up an ATM inside a Philadelphia takeout restaurant and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, a report said.

The explosion happened overnight at Foodland Express in West Philadelphia, CBS 3 News reported.

Surveillance video captured the man being dropped off by a car about a block away from the restaurant before the blast. He fled in the same vehicle, the station reported.

A gaping hole in the ATM was visible Wednesday morning, with debris scattered on the floor, NBC 10 reported.

Police did not disclose what kind of explosive was used on the cash machine.
