Louisiana Wiccan Wife, Two Husbands Charged With Vicious Sexual Assault of Woman

The victim pleaded with her sister for help when she visited the home in September: 'They beat me every day like a slave'

A Louisiana woman and at least two of her "husbands" were arrested after a different woman claimed she was forced to perform a series of disturbing ritualistic acts — including scrubbing herself with bleach in a scalding bath — and was repeatedly assaulted by the polyamorous cult members.

Hannah Frisby, the 29-year-old leader of the group, allegedly sexually assaulted the victim each time she refused to have sex with one of their husbands, adding that the only way she could "move up ranks" was if she helped the family reproduce.

Frisby had allegedly coerced the victim to live with her and the men, claiming she "does not do long-distance," according to court records obtained by local station KNOE.

Frisby's husbands include Justin Cowart, 26, and Caleb Frisby, 28, who were both charged with aggravated battery. Cowart and Frisby were also charged with first-degree rape.

A third man, James Owens, was also among the alleged husbands, but he has not been charged.

Frisby's 54-year-old uncle, Tommy Allen, allegedly "abused" the victim and was charged with aggravated battery as well.

Each member practiced a different religion, including satanism, witchcraft, and "Vikingism," based on the pagan beliefs of ancient Scandinavians.

The victim was forced to give up her Christian beliefs before moving into the household located in West Monroe, Louisiana, about 100 miles east of Shreveport.

When the members caught her performing self-harm, they allegedly made her enter a scalding bathtub and then use a hard-bristled brush to apply bleach to her skin. At another point, the cult members 'allegedly' put a knife to the chest of a puppy and threatened to sacrifice it "to the gods."

The victim's family repeatedly tried to reach her, but Frisby, at one point, told the victim's mom that her phone had been taken away and that she was only allowed to make calls with her husband's phone, per KNOE.

Court records show Frisby claimed the victim wanted her phone to be taken away.

The victim's sister eventually visited the household, where the victim covertly pleaded for help under the guise of writing a poem, according to Arkansas-based station KTVE.

"Help me. They won't let me leave," the victim reportedly wrote in a notebook. "They beat me every day like a slave."

The victim's sister soon left and called the police. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office arrived two hours later and escorted the woman from the home.

The alleged victim shared her experience with a forensic interviewer at a children's advocacy center in late September. She allegedly lives with autism and ADHD, which court documents said may have made her more susceptible to manipulation.

The four charged individuals were booked at the Ouachita Correctional Center.
