In an effort to support children's reading skills, the City of Las Vegas and JetBlue have introduced two free book vending machines.

According to KTNV's report, these vending machines, situated at the Doolittle Community Center and the Mirabelli Community Center, are part of JetBlue's "Soar With Reading" program, which was initiated in 2011 with the goal of fostering a love for reading among children.

The first free reading vending machine was installed in Washington D.C. in 2015.

City officials have confirmed that books from the vending machines will be available to children aged 14 and under until August 6, or while supplies last.

Free books await in their slots of a Las Vegas book vending machine to be taken by children.
