The oldest daughter of scandal-scarred mommy vlogger Ruby Franke was nearly arrested herself two days after her mother was handcuffed — for allegedly taking electronics, including some hard drives, from her parents' Springville home.

It was Ruby's husband, Kevin Franke, who allegedly wanted their 20-year-old daughter, Shari Franke, charged with burglary just two days after authorities arrested Ruby on six counts of aggravated felony child abuse — one for each of her children, according to an incident report cited in a report by Fox News.

Kevin Franke allegedly told police he suspected Shari kicked in the door to the home and took off with some electronics. However, police informed Franke the door was broken two days before when officers kicked their door in.

Franke allegedly said his daughter had no permission to enter the home, and wanted her charged with theft "for taking some hard drives out of the house." The responding officer told him "his daughter wasn't aware" she wasn't allowed to have them, and that she offered to bring them back.

The issue was resolved soon after when Shari brought three tablets, three cellphones, three cameras, a stack of written journals, and three passports back to the Springville Police Department. The officer returned "them to the complainant who arrived a short time later."

When investigators told Kevin they would not be arresting his daughter, he allegedly threatened to sue the police department.

Ruby Franke — a 41-year-old online influencer known for her now-banned YouTube channel, "8 Passengers" — and her 54-year-old business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, were each arrested in late August after Franke's malnourished 12-year-old son was found wandering around their neighborhood, asking strangers for food and water.

The boy had open wounds and his arms and legs had duct tape wrapped around them.

Franke has claimed through his attorney he was unaware of the abuse, and that his marriage started to collapse after the couple started seeing Hildebrante for counseling in 2021.

The Messenger reached out to the Springville Police for a copy of the same report but did not get a response.

Franke remains in custody without bail and has yet to enter a plea to the charges she faces. Hildebrandt also hasn't been asked for her plea.
