Jeremy Allen White says he needs to learn how to maneuver social media while in the spotlight.

In a new interview with British GQ, White opened up about a viral, one-word comment he left on Euphoria star Alexa Demie’s Calvin Klein lingerie photo shoot in August.

White wrote "wow" in the comments of the Instagram post, to many joking responses from fans.

The Bear star told GQ that, seeing the responses, he quickly messaged his publicist to ask if he had done the wrong thing.

"I was like, 'I just need to shut the f--- up. I just shouldn't say anything,'" he said. "And she was like, 'Kind of.'"

Elsewhere in his interview with the outlet, the Shameless star also reflected on his quick rise to fame and how it impacted his personal life.

"It's been insane," he said. "A lot of high highs, a lot of terribly low lows."

In May, White split from his wife, actress Addison Timlin. Just last month, The Messenger reported that he has to undergo alcohol testing in order to see his his two daughters. Since then, he's been spotted with model Ashley Moore and singer Rosalía.

White also added that getting paparazzi'd is new to him, despite being on TV for so many years while starring in Shameless.

"It's such a weird aspect of this thing that I truly never thought I would ever deal with whatsoever. It’s not fun, and it’s not nice, and it’s really weird.”

"They know where I live," he added. "There was a period where they were just chilling and when I would pull out [of the driveway], they would follow, and when I got home they were there."

In February, White discussed his newfound fame with Vanity Fair, joking that his mom usually pays attention to social media and keeps him abreast of what's going on.

"I've been acting since I was 18. I was on [Shameless] for 11 years that was popular, but I wasn't getting as much attention then as I am now," he said. "I feel very lucky that everything's been this gradual because I've been able to find my footing already. I feel really bad for a young actor or somebody who just hasn't had much experience when all of a sudden they break through; it could be more overwhelming in that case."
