‘Armed and Dangerous’ Suspect in Baltimore Tech CEO Murder Also Linked to Arson that Hospitalized Child
Jason Billingsley is wanted for the murder of Pava LaPere, a tech CEO found dead at her apartment building Monday
Jason Billingsley, the suspect wanted in the death of Baltimore tech CEO Pava LaPere, is also the main suspect in a recent attempted murder, arson and rape at a family home in the city, police said Wednesday afternoon.
Baltimore Police Department said in a statement that the 32-year-old is connected with the arson on September 19 which left a man and a woman critically injured and a five-year-old child also needing hospital treatment.
"Additionally, detectives are now reviewing all cases since October, 2022, to the present day in order to determine any other connections," the statement added.
Police were offering a reward of up to $6,000 for information which led to Billingsley's capture.
Billingsley was described as "armed and dangerous" by the Department Tuesday afternoon, with the search continuing Wednesday.
LaPere's body was reportedly found on her apartment building's roof, partially clothed, when police responded to a missing person's report on Monday, September 25. She had been beaten, BPD said.
