Israeli Drone Strikes Obliterate Hamas Fighters on Gaza Border Morning After Surprise Attack
Aerial footage shows drones rain down on Hamas terrorists crossing into Gaza
Israeli forces launched multiple drone strikes at Hamas fighters on the Gaza border Sunday morning after the terrorist group surprise attacked Israel, killing hundreds and wounding thousands in the worst assault on the nation in 50 years.
As of Sunday afternoon, Over 700 Israelis have been killed, and thousands more have been injured in Gaza, according to Israel authorities, according to Israeli officials. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Health Ministry said that 370 Palestinians were killed and 2,200 people wounded in Gaza since Saturday, according to CNN.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said in an update on X, formerly known as Twitter, that its aircraft struck a concealed launch site that belonged to Hamas in retaliation for the group’s “brutal terrorist offensive.”
The IDF said that two Hamas fighters were struck near that targeted launch site.
“Terrorists attempting to infiltrate Israeli territory from the sea and through the security fence were targeted by IDF aircraft. We also struck an operational command center of the Hamas rocket system operatives and an operational command post belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization,” the IDF added.
The Israeli military released brief videos of the drone strikes hitting Hamas targets late early Sunday morning.

Israeli drones also struck two operational situation rooms located inside mosques that were reportedly used by Hamas in Gaza. Additionally, 10 Hamas targets, including intelligence headquarters and a military compound, were also hit.
By 7:30 a.m. local time, Israeli forces also struck Hamas’ weapons production site and military equipment storage units.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that his country is “embarking on a long and difficult war” in response to Hamas’ attacks.
“[The political-security cabinet made a] series of operational decisions aimed at bringing about the destruction of the military and governmental capabilities of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, in a way that would negate their ability and desire to threaten and harm the citizens of Israel for many years to come,” his office said.
