Troops from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly raided Hamas’ bases, destroyed missile launch positions aimed at Israel and attacked tunnels in Northern Gaza as the fight with the terror group intensifies in the Northern part of the Strip.

Emanuel Fabian, a military correspondent for the Times of Israel, posted a video on X of Israel’s Harel Reserve Brigade destroying Hamas infrastructure by using tanks and different weapons.

The infrastructure that the IDF destroyed was located between the areas of Beit Hanoun and Jabaliya in the north of the Gaza Strip.

“According to the IDF, during the raids, the troops destroyed Hamas infrastructure in the area, including long-range rocket launchers aimed at Israel, anti-tank missile launch positions, tunnels, and observation posts,” Fabian tweeted.

Israel recently launched a ground offensive in Gaza as part of its efforts to eradicate Hamas after the militant group attacked Israeli territory on October 7, killing over 1,200 Israelis and kidnapping some 200 others.

Before launching its ground offensive, Israel first launched continuous airstrikes on Gaza leveling multiple buildings to the ground and damaging many structures.

Israeli airstrikes and bombardments killed over 11,000 Palestinians, including more than 4,000 children, according to the Gaza health ministry. Additionally, thousands were displaced as they moved from the north to the south.

The UN also said that 100 of its workers were confirmed dead within a month in the war.
