Camera eats first! And if you're lucky, those pictures could pay to put food on your table.

Yelp is hiring its first "Chief Food Photographer," and is offering $10,000 to travel the U.S. taking pictures of meals from "hidden gem restaurants" for two months.

Yelp says it's "the ultimate dream job" for "the friend who has perfected the perfect cheers boomerang."

The goal is to help diners "discover their next great meal through the perfect shot," according to a press release.

The lucky diner who gets the gig will be required to visit two restaurants per month from December through January, create two blog posts and capture both still and video content for Yelp's social media accounts.

You can land the job by entering Yelp's contest between September 7 and October 7. Participants will be judged "based on their love for local restaurants, quality of photography and social media prowess."

Entries must include up to 10 unique photos of food or restaurants that have been added to the business' Yelp page by the applicant, plus a 30- to 60-second video explaining why you're qualified for the role.
