Gunshot Victim Driving Himself to Hospital Crashes into Police

A man who had just been shot crashed into police officers in San Francisco on Tuesday while trying to drive himself to the hospital, KRON-TV reported. 

The unidentified gunshot victim crashed into the cops around Coral Road and Carolina Street at about 4:13 p.m. Nobody was injured in the crash, KRON reported.

The man told police that he had been shot a few blocks away at 25th Street and Connecticut Street. There was no crime scene at the site where the man specified, the San Francisco Police Department told KRON-TV.

Then he continued driving to the hospital, and the officers followed, KRON reported.

The victim was expected to survive.

The SFPD did not immediately respond to The Messenger’s request for more information.
