New documents unsealed in Virginia Giuffre's case against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell suggest that Prince Andrew once visited Epstein's island.

According to an April 2016 deposition of Maxwell that was unsealed on Jan. 9, the Duke of York visited the Little St. James property owned by Epstein at least once.

In the deposition, Maxwell — who was convicted in 2021 of five counts related to the crimes she committed as Epstein's longtime right-hand woman — confirms that the Prince did visit the U.S. Virgin Islands location.

In the document, Giuffre's attorney Sigrid McCawley asked Maxwell: "Did Prince Andrew ever tell you that he had sex with Virginia Roberts?" and "Did Jeffrey Epstein ever tell you that Prince Andrew had sex with Virginia Roberts?"

Maxwell answered no to both questions.

McCawley also asked Maxwell: "Did Prince Andrew ever visit that island — are you aware of Prince Andrew ever visiting Jeffrey's island?" to which she responded: "I am aware of that, yes."

Maxwell also testified that she did not know how many times that the Prince had visited the island, but that she was present once while he was there.

"There were no girls on the island at all. No girls, no women, other than the staff who work at the house," she testified. "Girls meaning — I assume you are asking underage, but there was nobody female outside of the cooks and the cleaners."

Thousands of pages of documents used in the civil lawsuit brought forth against Maxwell by Giuffre, a victim of her and Epstein's human trafficking enterprise, have been released to the public since the beginning of this month.

In the initial 2015 lawsuit, Giuffre alleged that Epstein and Maxwell had facilitated her sexual abuse and trafficked her to Prince Andrew. The now-40-year-old woman won $12 million at the end of the suit, while the prince said in 2019 that he had "no recollection of ever meeting" Giuffre.

Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 after he was arrested for child sex trafficking and conspiracy. New York and federal investigators ruled the death a suicide at age 66. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of abusing and trafficking underage girls and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. She has since appealed her conviction.

None of the individuals named in the new docs — apart from Epstein and Maxwell — have been charged with any crimes. However, Prince Andrew did resign from his public roles in May 2020.
