A 38-year-old Georgia resident was more concerned about his appearance than his arrest after allegedly attempting to bomb a Social Security Administration office.

According to The Augusta Chronicle, Keyon Tishaye Dickens was arrested after Richmond County deputies responded to a bomb threat at the Social Security Administration office in Augusta on Tuesday.

Before the call, Dickens had allegedly entered the building and expressed frustration about a recent decision regarding his SSA account, news station WJBF reported.

While speaking to an employee, Dickens threatened to "shoot up" or bomb the office if he returned. He later handed a security officer a paper towel with "I have a bomb" written on it, the outlet reported.

Deputies apprehended Dickens after finding him walking alongside the building, and the bomb threat was discovered while police searched his possessions.

After being apprehended, Dickens allegedly asked deputies whether "he was going to be on the news" and if they "should loosen his handcuffs so that he looks good for the news," The Augusta Chronicle reported.

Authorities noted that a suspicious package was found at the scene, but the contents remain unconfirmed, the outlet said.

Records in Georgia show that Dickens has previously been booked for parole violation, criminal trespassing, and theft.
