Former Girl Scout Troop Treasurer Charged with Felony Theft

From January 2018 through November 2022, the former treasurer is accused of pocketing more than $12,000

A former Girl Scout troop treasurer has been charged with felony theft in Delaware after she was accused of stealing thousands of dollars. 

Delaware State Police arrested Kelly M. Raab Thursday after a 10-month investigation. 

Police said they met with Girl Scout Troop 45 in January regarding a theft. Officers said they discovered that Raab, 52, had issued and cashed fraudulent checks and also made unauthorized card transactions when she was treasurer. 

From January 2018 through November 2022, the Frankford woman pocketed more than $12,000, police said. 

She was charged with theft over $1,500 and was released on her own recognizance, police said.
