Florida Woman Beat Up Elderly Dad Because His Oxygen Machine Wouldn’t Stop Beeping: Police
The 49-year-old was charged with domestic battery on a person 65 years of age or older
A woman in Florida was arrested after she allegedly punched her elderly dad following an argument over his oxygen machine, according to the police.
Christina Granados, 49, slapped and punched her 73-year-old father in the face on Christmas Day because his oxygen machine was making a beeping noise, according to the arrest affidavit, local news station Fox 35 Orlando reported.
Granados told the police that she argued with her father about the oxygen machine because of “the way her father was speaking to her.” She admitted to slapping him, according to the affidavit.
Her father said that she punched him in the face after arguing with him about the beeping sound from the oxygen machine.
The 49-year-old was charged with domestic battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
She was detained at the Lake County Jail and released Dec. 26, according to jail records, after posting a $1,000 bond.
