Three adults in Florida have been arrested and charged with the murder of a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver who was on just his second day at the job, according to police.

Elijsha Wingfield and Avianna Kerr Williams, both 25, and Marcus Williams, 29, were booked into the main Palm Beach County jail Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm in the deadly shooting of Tommie Anderson III, 33.

West Palm Beach police said Anderson delivered a pizza shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday and was shot just seconds later. The resident who called 911 said they heard the shots just after they’d closed their door.

Police arrived and found Anderson bleeding from his neck and arm. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to WSVN.

A white Honda four-door vehicle driven by someone wearing a “round, hockey-style mask” was captured on surveillance cameras pulling up near Anderson’s car, which had a Domino’s sign affixed to its roof, investigators said.

The Florida Highway Patrol stopped that white Honda four hours later in West Palm Beach with all three suspects inside it. They also spotted two rifles in the back seat and a 9mm pistol underneath the front passenger seat, according to police.

Police said Wingfield admitted to shooting Anderson during an attempted robbery, saying "he was in need of money and was expecting a paycheck which he didn't receive," according to the arrest report.

According to court documents, the suspects were driving around looking for robbery targets. As they neared the Domino's vehicle, Wingfield allegedly told police he saw Anderson and said, "Let's see what he's got!"

The arrest report alleges Wingfield got out of the vehicle armed with a 9mm handgun and Williams got out carrying an AR-15 rifle.

Wingfield told police that they’d approached Anderson, who’d initially put his hands up and then reached toward his pocket, according to the report.

"Wingfield claimed he was afraid Mr. Anderson was going to shoot him," the arrest report stated, so he fired three shots at the delivery driver, it says.

"At this point in the interview, Elijsha Wingfield put his head down and stated, 'I [EXPLETIVE] my life up!'" the arrest report stated.

All three suspects are being held without bond.

Anderson's father, Tommie Anderson Jr., said his son took the job to make ends meet to take care of his children.

"I'm just hurt. I can't sleep at night. I'm really hurt about this," the father told KPTV. "It was shocking, nobody could believe it. Take a person's life ... they don't have any money or nothing. What Domino's pizza [delivery person] has money? He was just trying to make an honest living for my two grandkids. That's all he was trying to do."
