A 57-year-old unidentified Florida man, who allegedly "grabs and slaps" his grandmother "often," was arrested last week for attacking his 103-year-old grandmother.

According to the felony complaint obtained by The Miami Herald, deputies responded to a noise complaint at the Largo, Florida home shared by the grandson and grandmother around 4:15 a.m.

The suspect and the victim’s names have not been released.

The victim told police that her 6-foot-3, 237-pound grandson regularly physically abuses her. On the night of the incident, the victim reportedly told Pinellas County police that the suspect had “repeatedly” come into her room, waking her by shouting and turning on the lights.

“In the course of doing this, he would call her ‘b----,” and “slap her about her face,” the police report states. The suspect also reportedly “took the mattress off her bed and pushed her onto the box spring, causing her pain.”

The affidavit said the victim had “bruising on both arms in the elbow area.”

The 57-year-old admitted to assaulting his grandmother “because she is always waking him [up] early” and that he only grabbed her arms to “set her down.”

According to police reports, the suspect was also under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

The grandson was arrested and charged with battery on someone 65 or older. He was held on no bond and was ordered to have no contact with his grandmother.
