The search continues Tuesday for a missing pregnant teenager in Texas who was scheduled to be induced at a hospital but never showed up. Now, her family says her boyfriend cannot be reached, adding to the distress of the young woman's loved ones.

Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, was last seen on Friday. She didn’t show up to her scheduled induction Saturday to deliver her son, alarming family members who said they expected to spend Christmas with Soto and her newborn.

Loved ones also cannot reach Soto’s boyfriend, Mathew Guerra, amplifying their fears, the young woman’s family said.

The Leon Valley Police Department is investigating Soto’s disappearance, the city said Tuesday. The San Antonio Police Department issued a CLEAR alert, which is for missing, kidnapped or abducted adults who are in immediate danger.

"She was thrilled and excited about being a mom ... I pray to God every day, every minute, every second of the day we pray to God to bring her home, to bring her home safely because we need her home, to complete our family again," grandmother Rachel Soto told CBS News.

Soto’s mother, Gloria Cordova, said she was concerned about her daughter’s safety since she was with her boyfriend, who she said is “no good.” Sister-in-law Rivera Kass said neighbors of Soto and Guerra heard them arguing before the mom-to-be’s disappearance.

“This isn't making any sense,” Kass said. “Nothing is adding up.”

The sister-in-law posted a plea on social media asking for any information about Guerra or his whereabouts and organized a search party to comb the area near Soto’s San Antonio apartment.

Soto’s disappearance quickly reached true crime groups on Facebook filled with thousands of people who follow news stories of those missing. A Facebook group called “MISSING SAVANAH SOTO” was filled with theories Tuesday about the woman’s disappearance and calls to action.

Soto is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has no tattoos, police said.

Anyone with information about Soto’s disappearance is asked to call police at 210-684-8897.
