A DoorDash driver in New York was arrested Wednesday for being a "porch pirate" after police said she used the delivery of a food order to conceal the theft of a package in two separate instances.

Juliana Saggaram, 33, was charged with two counts of petty larceny for allegedly stealing a package each in Manhasset and Sands Point on Sunday, Sept. 3, Nassau County Police Department said in a press release.

According to police, Saggaram picked up Chipotle orders for DoorDash and then drove around the area searching for packages to steal.

The department released doorbell camera footage from one of the instances. In the video, Saggaram can be seen holding the food as a cover and then walking up to a 54-year-old woman’s home and stealing the package before driving away.

Authorities began investigating the package theft after the victim reported it was stolen from outside her house.

Saggaram was issued a court appearance ticket and is scheduled to be in First District Court on Oct. 20.

DoorDash deactivated Saggaram’s Dasher account after the incident.
