DiGiorno’s New Thanksgiving Pizza Is Wild — Here’s What’s on It
DiGiorno Thanksgiving pizza goes on sale with limited-edition drops starting Wednesday
Instead of working for hours in the kitchen cooking up numerous Thanksgiving dishes, ready-made pizza brand DiGiorno is offering up an alternative. Enter: a Thanksgiving pizza series.
The Detroit-style pizza features turkey, creamy gravy sauce, diced sweet potatoes, crispy onions, green beans and cranberries as toppings in addition to mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
"From Friendsgiving parties to Turkey Day tables, we're thrilled to provide a bold new way to appreciate the traditional Thanksgiving spread," Kimberly Holowiak, senior brand manager for DiGiorno, said in a statement Monday.
The pies are being released on a rolling, limited-edition basis every Wednesday from Nov. 1 through 22. They'll be dropped for online purchase only on the website and will run customers $11.23.
"Our passion is pizza, and we are always looking for unique ways to infuse the fresh-baked taste of DiGiorno into moments of celebration," Holowiak added. "Even the most traditional holiday dinners."
