In Butler County, Pennsylvania, a daycare worker faces charges after allegations of repeatedly abusing infants over a two-year period, KDKA reports.

Taylor Titley, 29, is under investigation for alleged abuse at Sheryl Buffington's Daycare & Preschool Palace in Center Township. Court documents indicate multiple instances of Titley's physical abuse, targeting children as young as six months.

On Thursday, Sept. 7, charges were filed against her, including aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.

The investigation into Titley's actions began when a six-month-old child was treated for a fractured arm on June 13 at UPMC Children's Hospital. The probe soon uncovered claims from several employees who reported witnessing or hearing about Titley throwing infants onto both the floor and sleeping mats.

One employee recounted witnessing Titley "throw" infants from heights of 3 to 4 feet approximately 20 times.

Described as being "very strict" by those who know her, Titley purportedly became aggressive with infants if they failed to adhere to her stipulated feeding or napping routines.

This claim, as reported by the outlet, suggests a pattern of abuse involving at least five children aged between 6 months and 2 years, occurring between June 2021 and June 2023.

Speaking to WTAE, a parent, whose son was allegedly 7 months old during the time of one abuse incident, detailed her longstanding relationship with Titley.

"I'm in severe therapy for everything that has happened," Kara Kennedy said. "Every day I fight with myself thinking this my fault because I'm the one that picked that daycare.”
