A California gang member is facing multiple murder counts after allegedly going on a killing spree that claimed both his current girlfriend and his ex, officials confirm.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office has charged Louis Peter Hernandez, III, 41, with the murders of three people, according to a statement.

On Nov. 25, Hernandez allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Angelina Urbano and 54-year-old Romaldo De La Rosa in a house in Fontana, according to the San Bernadino Sun.

After fleeing that crime scene, investigators allege Hernandez drove to Riverside County, tracked down his ex at a park-and-ride, and shot her.

That woman, identified by The Sun as Dianna Couer, was rushed to the hospital, where she died after three days.

After allegedly shooting Couer, Hernandez then allegedly shot a fourth person following a physical altercation at the park-and-ride. The fourth victim is expected to recover from the shooting.

Motives, if known, have not been disclosed.

The statement claims Hernandez is a felon who was on probation and post-release community supervision at the time of his alleged murderous rampage. It further claims he is a known gang member — nicknamed Wicked — "with a history of violence including auto theft, assault with a firearm, and evading a police officer."

Hernandez pleaded not guilty at his Nov. 29 arraignment and remains in custody without bail. In addition to murder, he was also charged with one count of assault with a firearm.

Hernandez is due back in court Dec. 4.
