‘Not So Athletic’ California Burglar’s Attempt at ‘Ninja Roll’ Through Glass Door During Theft Gives Police Bulletin Gold
'No one said anything about having to be graceful when applying to be a criminal,' Salinas police said
Police in California were not impressed by the "ninja roll" of a “not so athletic burglar” who was caught on camera flailing his way through the glass door of a business during a recent theft.
In a snarky post on Facebook, Salinas Police Department (SPD) said authorities are searching for the suspect shown on video crashing through the glass. The suspect then struggles to roll over and stand up before stumbling away.
"No one said anything about having to be graceful when applying to be a criminal," SPD said.
Police said he "stole several hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise."
"As you can tell by his ninja roll and superb landing, it appears this might not be his first rodeo," SPD said.
