A 6-year-old boy is recovering from a zip lining accident in Mexico that caused him to fall 40 feet.

The plummet happened on Sunday at Parque Fundidora's Amazonian Expedition in Nuevo León, in the Northeast part of Mexico.

Video of the fall has been circulating online. The child, identified only as Cesar, suffered minor injuries in the fall, but is said to be traumatized by the entire ordeal.

In the clip, the boy is seen moving slowly across the zip line. An adult catches up to him, and they suddenly come to a stop. That is when the boy falls. The harness carrying Cesar across the zip line snapped, causing him to plunge into an artificial pool below.

Someone nearby jumped into the pool after the child, the family told Fox News. His brother told the outlet that he was "psychologically damaged" and "afraid" but otherwise had only minor injuries from the fall.

Several attractions at the park were temporarily shut down after the incident.
