WATCH: Sneaky Bear Burglarizes Connecticut Home for Frozen Lasagna Dinner
The hungry animal snuck into Helena Houlis' home through a window and made a beeline for the freezer
A black bear broke into a Connecticut home and made off with a frozen lasagna.
The hungry bear sneaked into Helena Houlis' Barkhamsted home through a window and made a beeline for the freezer, grabbing the lasagna with its mouth. The ingenious thief then used the freezer as a step to exit through the same window.
The entire incident was captured by Houlis' Ring camera and shared on Ana's Kitchen's social media page, the origin of the lasagna. Ana Oliveira is the eponymous Ana and also Houlis' mother, according to CT Insider.
While the bear managed to escape, it did have tags, enabling Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to track it.
The lingering question is whether the bear has an oven at home to heat the lasagna for proper enjoyment.
