Where is the best place to live in the United States?

If you asked 100 people, you'd probably get 100 different answers. But according to a new ranking, the top spot in America is none other than the capital city of the Peach State.

Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, secured the top spot on Money.com's annual list of the 50 Best Places to Live in the U.S. This achievement is particularly notable because Atlanta is one of only a few large cities to be included in the elite rankings.

So how did Money.com determine that the destination deemed the "City in the Forest" is the top spot to live in the U.S.?

According to its methodology, the cities were ranked on a variety of factors, including cost of living, diversity, economic opportunity, education and quality of life.

The article about Atlanta highlights that although the city isn't exceptionally large, it offers remarkable economic, educational, and cultural opportunities for those who live there.

If Atlanta is not your cup of tea, you could head to Tempe, Arizona, which landed second on the list thanks to its low unemployment rate (3%) and solid median household income ($66,876). The rest of the top five were rounded out by Kirkland, Washington; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Rogers Park, Illinois.
