Police in New Jersey are reportedly investigating a homicide as a murder-suicide after four people were found dead in a home in Plainsboro on Wednesday afternoon.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office told local media that a 911 call was made just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday requesting a check of a home on Titus Lane.

Plainsboro police found four people dead inside the house, MyCentralJersey reported.

Law enforcement sources told WABC-TV that a man is accused of killing his wife and two young children before killing himself.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released and it was unclear how they died.

The children were 10 years old and 6 years old, News 12 New Jersey reported.
