Woman Accused of Stealing 10,000 Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Van From Gas Station
Police say all of the doughnuts were destroyed during the crime
It wasn't a sweet ending for a woman who was arrested after police say she stole 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts from a Sydney, Australia 7-Eleven.
The theft happened about 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 29 when the suspect, wearing dark clothing and carrying a white handbag, was seen loitering near the gas pumps.
Security footage showed her jumping into the unmarked van carrying the donuts while it was parked.
She drove off with the sugary treats.
Police found the vehicle abandoned at a parking lot last Friday, but said the Krispy Kremes were destroyed.
