Wiz Khalifa Goes to 10-Year-Old Son’s Parent-Teacher Meetings ‘Stoned’: ‘They Expect It’

'I'm pretty sure my son smells like weed,' Wiz Khalifa said of Sebastian, whom he shares with ex-wife Amber Rose

Wiz Khalifa is young, wild and free when it comes to meeting his 10-year-old son Sebastian's teachers.

That's because the "Black and Yellow" rapper shamelessly revealed that he often goes to parent-teacher conferences high.

"Hell yeah, I'm pulling up stoned. They expect it," he said while on the Call Her Daddy podcast Wednesday.

When asked by host Alex Cooper if the teachers are OK with that, Wiz said, "Yeah, they know what's up."

He also pointed out that times have changed, adding, "It's not like back in the day where you're considered a bad parent if you smell like weed. I'm pretty sure my son smells like weed. I don't know because I can't smell it, but I'm pretty sure he smells like pot."

"I want them to connect with the real me," Wiz explained. "They're not going to get a fake version of me or this, you know, made-up parent that society makes you think that you're supposed to be."

"I am who I am," he continued. "And it's not because I'm a celebrity or anything, but it's because it's really what I believe in. Why would I have to change who I am or act like I'm not that just for these places that I'm going to go? That's not how I'm going to be living my life ever."

Wiz, who shares Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose, also spoke about co-parenting following their 2016 split.

"It's good, it's fun," he confirmed. "Well not fun, but like, I think I'm in a good situation with her as a co-parent. Especially through time. Things have just eased up and become a lot more enjoyable and just regular of a process."

The rapper concluded, "All the irregular sh-- has been worked out and we're past everything that I think would cause people to be dysfunctional. So at this point, it's way easier to just run things smoothly than it is for it not to be smooth."
