Why Kris Jenner Made Corey Gamble Turn Down a Role on ‘Yellowstone’

On the season premiere of Hulu's 'The Kardashians,' Jenner allegedly had a very personal reason for not allowing her boyfriend to guest star on the mega-popular western

Kris Jenner was not about to let Corey Gamble find a new home on the range. On Thursday's season premiere of Hulu's The Kardashians, a family dinner wound down much in the way countless dinners do around the country these days, with Kris saying, "I am so excited to watch the next episode of Yellowstone."

However, that's when things became very unrelatable.

Corey looked at partner Kris and said with a twangy accent, "If it wasn't for you, I'd be a Yellowstone star."

A shocked Kim Kardashian responded, "They asked you to be on Yellowstone and you said no?"

Kris butted in to explain, saying, "Correct, because I told him to say no."

Kim, ever the voice of reason, asked, "Why you would tell him to turn down Yellowstone?"

Well, as it turns out, Kris was worried about getting jealous.

"I thought he was going to have to have a romantic relationship," she attempted to explain.

Khloé Kardashian was quick to point out a potential double standard in her mother's argument.

"If they said they wanted you to star and kiss with Kevin Costner," she asked, "I'm sure you would take it."

Kris barely skipped a beat before answering with a laugh, "Oh, that's a hard. yes." Yee haw!

The Messenger reached out to Yellowstone and reps for creator Taylor Sheridan to confirm Jenner and Gamble's story.

New episodes of The Kardashians drop Thursdays on Hulu.
